By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms or policies referenced herein.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. Description of Services
Mycelium Network provides an IP Registry and IP infrastructure platform that enables users to:
- Register intellectual property and digital assets
- Track ownership, provenance, and derivative relationships
- Define licensing terms and permissions
- Enable remixing, attribution, and on-chain or off-chain IP references
- Integrate Mycelium’s services via SDKs and APIs
- Interact with blockchain-based components, including smart contracts
Mycelium does not provide legal advice, IP validation, or guarantee enforceability of any registered rights.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your credentials including your crypto wallet address
- Be fully responsible for all activity conducted through your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Use of the Services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:
- Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property rights
- Register IP you do not own or have authorization to use
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the platform
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the SDKs or APIs
- Use the Services to engage in fraud, deception, or illegal activities
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Mycelium IP
All content, software, documentation, SDKs, APIs, trademarks, logos, and platform components provided by Mycelium are the exclusive property of Mycelium Network or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Mycelium’s IP without prior written consent.
6.2 User IP
You retain ownership of any intellectual property or content you submit, register, or link through the Services (“User Content”).
By using the Services, you grant Mycelium a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and technically reproduce User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Services.
7. IP Registration & Attribution Disclaimer
Mycelium Network acts as a technical registry and attribution layer only.
We do not verify ownership, originality, legality, or enforceability of registered IP.
Registration on Mycelium does not constitute legal proof of ownership.
Any disputes regarding IP ownership or infringement are the sole responsibility of the involved parties.
8. Licensing & Derivative Works
Where applicable, IP owners may define licensing terms for derivatives, remixes, or reuse. Mycelium does not:
- Guarantee compliance by third parties
- Enforce licensing terms on your behalf
- Resolve disputes arising from licensing violations
9. SDKs, APIs, and Integrations
Subject to these Terms, Mycelium grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SDKs and APIs solely for integrating the Services into your own applications.
You may NOT:
- Resell or sublicense the SDKs
- Circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the SDKs in a way that competes directly with Mycelium
10. Blockchain & Smart Contract Risks
You acknowledge that:
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible
- Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities
- Digital assets may lose value or functionality
- Mycelium is not responsible for losses resulting from blockchain network failures, smart contract exploits, or user error.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mycelium disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mycelium Network and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mycelium Network from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of third-party rights
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
